personal piece. i've struggled with depression, apathy and disassociation for most of my life, and struggled with emotional regulation. more often than not, any "positive" experiences become Too Much and leaves me in extreme physical discomfort. it hurts to be happy doing something i enjoy. this year i went to the lunar new year festival and had experiences that left me feeling both wonderfully alive, and in pain, burning alive. all i could really keep repeating to myself was "this too, is being alive".

#howlsnteeth #it's actually been a while since i made a piece that is 100% for me without considering what other people might 'like to see' in the artwor #but i would bet others feel the same about this too. i can't be alone in it #the first way i used to conceptualise this experience was like a decade ago and it was #'it feels like grabbing the third rail' [of a train track that is electrified]#anyway. here's to being alive

I think this is THE most underrated scene in the whole series.#You have one guy flashing WWX his prosthetic leg. Another complains about his dead parents.#And the third guy? He has no personal grievances at all. He's just here to be included.#You cannot get better comedic timing than that. Sect leader Yao you will always be famous to me.#There is also something to be said about how this scene is about shifting blame and holding a false trial.#And we also have the main theme about rumours vs truth in how Sect leader Yao is only here based on what he's been told to beleive.#And WWX is so exhausted by the blame! He was one breath away from saying 'form a queue and I'll take your complaints one by one'#WWX (overall) didn't do those things directly but he's the one the responsibility falls on.#Despite the fact that the first siege was *not* incited by him. It's like hitting someone and getting mad your fist got hurt.#What a brilliantly frustrating scene!#Anyways next up are the long awaited pheonix mountain flashabck scenes. We finally made it.#and AHH Season 3!!! The last stretch! Thank you all for rooting me on up until this point!

When will the albus severus name discourse in this fandom die omggg. I feel like people are missing a really crucial point when talking about this, which is that all of these characters’ lives were defined around war. No, ginny would not have an issue naming her son after snape because he was a dick to neville! Snape dedicated his entire life to fighting a war on the side she was on, a war that her whole family was heavily involved in, a war that she fought her entire sixth year, a war that took her brother's life, why in the world would she care about something so considerably petty like snape being a shit teacher when he fought and died heroically for her and her loved one's lives?

hey i dont go here but jayce's speech about viktor in s2e9 isn't him saying 'u should never have tried to heal yourself, you were perfect the way u were x3' it was him saying that viktor's physical health never made him any less beautiful, never made him any less important, never made him any LESS, period. he wasn't saying viktor didn't need to pursue a cure for his ills like come on his motivation to invent hextech was to help people. to cure disease. viktor's first and foremost among them.

he said what he said because it was the thing viktor craved to hear most in his life, and that is why those were the words that punched through his defences even as the machine herald: jayce loved him wholly and unconditionally, healthy or ill, good or bad, human or inhuman. he would always be loved just the same.
